Yes I got an email last night "clarifying" items on the "buyout" which encouraged me to move from my less productive public sector job to a more productive private sector job

Got an email today to remove preferred pronouns from emails and to remove the use of the word gender in any contracts. Also to replace the word gender with sex.

If I am sending an email to 2 million people at once, I would at least proof read it. The emails today even have typos, it is frustrating.

Not only that. We also cannot use the word gender in any contracts. One of my new construction projects has a gender neutral bathroom, had to change that and things like that.

No severance. The wording is not clear. Telework for 8 months, and resign. It says we can be put on administrative leave if possible or on telework. I would say no severance. It is not a good deal.

in Buyout scenario the employee gets bigger $ handout than severance. Buyout is like VRS while Severance is almost like firing.

This is my favorite part of the email.

"Q: Am I allowed to get a second job during the deferred resignation period?

A: Absolutely! We encourage you to find a job in the private sector as soon as you would like to do so. The way to greater American prosperity is encouraging people to move from lower productivity jobs in the public sector to higher productivity jobs in the private sector.

Ridiculous. I mean they are saying that they expect 10% federal employees to take up this offer. Here is the thing. Annually federal employees have about 10-12% attrition rate. They are going to show this number and say, hey we are successful. Good job and pat your back.

Ante if he is male and he says his pronoun is She are you going to respect that? The goal is to remove “Identify as” culture.
