is conscious AI possible in near future?

IMO, AI going towards open source is big game changer, corporates make AI slaves, but open source may leads to conscious AI (with the help of common compute platforms)

seems to me we are not very far of conscious AI, curiosity on purpose of life or reality of existence..etc will leads to any level 

human conscious life also similar stages of AI development, whoever invented the term “train the model” he aimed the bullseye 

for example a baby born, that baby  gets knowledge from sense like vision, hear, touch, smell, taste..etc and that baby use that knowledge to be conscious , to take decision or to be emotional..etc  (this is basic model)

childhood is training period for that  baby, with all parenting, religion, culture and society it becomes a trained model (its training)

teenage period is the validation and testing to try out yourself (your model) in the society (some bug corrections)

finally that model get deployed in job and getting married and produce more models and get decommissioned 

here is the conclusion, when i was watching “west world” series in hbo, there is an iconic dialogue like “pain is a program” such as every emotion can become a program based on sensory knowledge of the model
