Our desi shitizrns are less than 1% of the voting population. They are auxiliary beneficiaries. But they are like a drop in an ocean.

But , they are crying water is filling oceans ..

Farm pay rolls are mostly due to undocs. How many entitled white people will work in farms for $6 per hour?

You don't mean farms should exploit illegal immigrants and pay them below minimum wage to get their work done, do you?

Then don’t you think we better leave this place is right decision? Why are you so concerned? I am pretty sure you are not citizen or PR.

The absurdity and hypocrisy of our community arguments know no bounds.

FYI: I am also on H1B. And I may have leave this country if anything happens. But we cannot have our arguments both ways. Tell me how a US graduate is not better than a MS student who came here and spend 4-5 hours on subjects and work in restaurants the remaining?

I’m taking myself out of this equation. I didn’t even list anything about the skilled immigration in my points.

Since you brought this subject. Yes they have every right to deny a visa. That’s fine. We will have to honor it. No questions asked.

At the same time native Americans should have a bigger say in USA politics too. European whites are only here for 200 years. They can’t hijack the whole country and make this ethnically white. Thats not fair either. Since we are talking about fairness and who has ownership of this land.

Extend the list, H1 happy seeing F1 suffer, F1 happy seeing illegal suffer

That’s true. H1b mock F1s and H4s and yet they expect sympathy from shitizens.

Ah..I forgot, you are right.

I think China democratized electricity..

just kidding

@DonnyStrumpet, sorry if I went overboard with my arguments.
The point is we abused the system so much that it’s clear as water to everyone except Indians/ and immigrants. If you apply to a position in the last 3 years without any contacts in any non-silicon valley companies, your resume will not be picked. The reason is it’s already sold by Desis.I experienced it and lot of Indians also experienced it.

If I feel this that way, imagine a white kid from rust belt.

Exploitation is in the blood of Americans. Why USA waged a war against Iraqqqq? At the end of the day there were no WMD. They destroyed  whole country on a misinformation. USAaaa makes every country sign nuclear treaty and yet they are the only country that has ever used a nuclear weapon. Why should they even sign when they didn’t even use it before. Lastly, why should other countries accept USA currency as a global currency? Why can’t a new global currency be created by world bank.

I think that it is too early to judge Trump administration. It has only been 2 weeks. It is true that he might have taken decisions that can be considered irrational, but we knew that about him. There is a reason that people voted for him, we have to see if it was worth it.

Agreed Anna. No need to be sorry. We are no strangers to desi nepotism. But our H1 issue is only one aspect of this country. We have kids who are born here. We are all concerned for them.

My argument was about illegal immigrants, but if you want to change the topic have at it. You don't have to accept the US currency. That's why Trump said FAFO. India never accepted nuclear proliferation treaty. Every country makes decisions that suits their interests. So does the USA.

They will be fine. Except the recent generation of graduates from India, the previous generations are good with fundamentals. The same is with our kids.

Birthright citizenship can  not be retroactive.

i pray and wish all the best for our kids.

I feel bad that, we never stood up against injustice and for right things in our homeland and we can not expect it on a foreign land.

Have you ever heard of 123 agreement? Also didn’t you hear recent threats by Trump regarding BRICS?

give me one good reason which justifies the tariffs?

or fed layoffs?

Tariffs are a complicated thing. The reason Trump imposed tariffs is to address the trade deficit. It might seem to you that the US is the aggressor here, but really that is not the case. Canada imposes tariffs on US goods and expects the US to not tariff Canadian goods because they are a smaller economy and need to protect their manufacturing. But really US looks like the villain here but they are just being fair. Same with Mexico and China. Ideally you want this to boost American manufacturing but I don't see that happening because companies are driven by profits not nationalism.

About the Fed employees, I see first hand the amount of wastage that happens with Federal spending. But for now, it seems like a lot of barking and no action, we have to see what they "actually" do.
