Hitman Posted February 3 Report Posted February 3 New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has made a striking statement, claiming that Pulivendula may face a by-election. He explained the reasoning behind this possibility. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju pointed out that Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the current MLA from Pulivendula, has not been attending Assembly sessions. He stated that if an MLA remains absent from the Assembly for 60 days without formally seeking leave, disqualification proceedings could be initiated against them. He further remarked that if Jagan Mohan Reddy does not attend the upcoming Assembly sessions, a by-election in Pulivendula would become inevitable. However, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju also expressed his genuine wish for Jagan Mohan Reddy to attend the Assembly and make his voice heard. He made these remarks while addressing the media in Delhi today. Quote
