In this case you won’t be eligible for automatic extension because there’s no valid I94 beyond the expiry date. If H4 expires 03/25/2027 and you filed I765 for ead extension today, ead will be automatically extended until 03/25/2027 or 540 days whichever is earlier. Hope this makes sense Quote
