I am a 27-year-old male. I completed my master's degree at a university in Texas. After graduating, I got a job and moved to a different city in Texas.

 

There, I shared an apartment with a few other people. Two bedrooms were occupied by couples, each with their own attached bathrooms,

 

while I had to share a bathroom with two girls who were cousins. Initially, I cooked my own meals, as everyone in the apartment cooked separately. After a few days, the two girls and I decided to cook together to avoid food waste and save time. I work a hybrid job,

usually going into the office 1-2 days a week. One of the girls has a job and goes to the office daily, while the other is a student who mostly stays at home. Over time, we became good friends. The couples

 

in the apartment mostly kept to themselves and stayed in their rooms.

 

Since I only work for about 3-4 hours a day, I often feel lonely and don't have many friends. To pass the time, I used to watch a lot of TV. However, the couple downstairs would often ask me to keep the volume low, so
