c drive storage full , d drive around 500 gb space.. how to do partitions and move some of that storage to C drive ? 

it used to be easy on older windows version.. ! online articles didnt help

Convert your C drive partition to GPT and expand C Drive

in run dialog enter “%temp%”, it will open a folder , delete the entire content in that folder and next delete the downloads folder and clear the recycle bin. This will give some space in C drive.

move the stuff from D drive to C drive. and use the disk manager to format and partition the D drive
