I do not use but have done a ton of research on this subject for Stock purchase decisions. These drugs work for diabetes but there are side effects esp muscle loss. Google search "Ozempic Face". There are significant changes to facial features after usage.

A lot of new age drugs will be coming in the next few years which target your cravings and do not cause Muscle Loss.

Whatever is the case - Check with your doctor if Ozempic is for you.

I’ve been hearing a lot about unexpected side effects from some of these newer meds. While reading up on them, I came across https://natlawreview.com/article/dupixent-lawsuit-10-key-facts-ctcl-patients-and-their-families which talks about a lawsuit related to another drug. Made me think it's always good to keep an eye on legal or health issues that pop up later, especially with how fast these meds are coming out.

If you are diagnosed with Type-2, then insurance covers the cost. Else you need to pay from your pocket.

There are compounded versions too, usually cost around $200/month. Cheapest is Semaglutide but if its pre-diabetic, better to go for Trizeptide.

Branded Sema/Tri usually costs upwards of $600-1000 but compounded versions cost around $200-300.
