Modi was decent but I feel Modi ruined his first 5 yrs by not investing in RnD and PhDs India is now looking at religion to save money. I think Trumps anti immigration agenda is the best opportunity for India but we never listen

i think we may have missed some good chances to get manufacturing from china during last trump's presidency. it went to vietnam.  taxes and gst are high, crony capitalism adani. lot of leaders who are drunk on power from bjp. telangana lo bane startups edo chesamannaru during trs rule - no idea if they are still thriving. R&D budgets are extremely low for private companies in India. govt. entani chestundi.

back in days internet access is limited so common people have limited access to these so called world bank reports, and dome local media companies aired that news as it is

First argument : Your assumption is based on news articles, nkt a realistic and practical assumption based on facts.

Second argument : India outpacing China is a myth. Any credible authority or agency can confirm this and they did so for decades. 

Third argument : Just because India does not outpace China, does not mean a hopeless situation.
