rmJU72 Posted February 13 Report Posted February 13 Hey guys, I’m contemplating leaving a sum in Indian stock market for long term(MFs/index funds type) It looks like it’s possible to invest via NRE/NRO accounts. Has anyone done it? Can you share which bank you are using and experiences and any gotchas. Quote

Zerodha policies have changed now. You can't open accounts online. I think same with ICICI. @rmJU72 Next time you go to India, Open an NRI account. Zerodha is the best one available. ICICI also allows NRI DMATs. Axis does not. 1 Quote

Originally I was inclining towards something that a bank would also provide so that I don’t have to maintain accounts with multiple banks. I will look into zerodha as well, thank you! Quote
