Education system shd be completely taken over by an autonomous body like UPSC & hv Gurukul kind of Paathashalas across country, in every district & all the children from different backgrounds shd get free & relevant education, keeping up with changing trends .. along with raising kids with immense nationalistic values in such a way that they only identify themselves as Indians (everything else such as faith, caste, language, race, region etc. stays within their home & not beyond that). During this phase the kids shd be able to hv access to knowledge related to every domain (Arts / Sports / Armed Forces / STEM / Literature / Philosophy etc). Proper training shd be provided to kids in their respective fields of interest so that by the time they complete high school, they're clear abt what they want to become, in future! 2.) Definition of DEMOCRACY needs a change! The current practice of FPTP w.r.t elections need to be ditched. Changes shd be made in a way that the % of votes polled / no. of seats won, shd be considered for a political party to be allowed to form govt. eg: if d winning party gets some 'X' seats or gets a 'X %' of votes in the current election & forms govt, in d nxt elections, it shd win 'X + 10%(X)' seats / '(X+5)%' of votes, to make sure the incumbent govt is also expanding its supporter base (considering the existence of different communities everywhere across the nation). That way we can also solve the problem of divisiveness within the society where one group is inclined to one political party keeping individual interests in mind rather than the collective interests of the society! 3.) Modification of Reservation System: Reservations shd be removed for anyone based on faith / caste / gender, especially during allotment of seats in reputed universities / appointment of jobs in public/private sectors & anywhere else that can lead to any kind of discriminations! Instead the groups / sections within the society which are deprived of access to basic facilities that can hinder their growth .. those problems shd be addressed at that level itself .. meaning during their early stages of life! Only reservation that shd exist would be for 'Weaker Economic Sections' within the society & 'Women' for which govt shd bring in policies to support them in different stages of their life w.r.t health care / higher education expenses / representation etc. Also reservations w.r.t. religious freedom can be considered for the people practicing different faiths and fall under minority groups, to preserve & preach their ideology! I believe, once the nationalistic interests take precedence within citizens, that'll undoubtedly fuel the growth engine & we can see a different India, that's self-reliant, well-organised, innovative, competitive & may be a world-leader at some point of time! 1 Quote
