When modis tweet was ignored. He tried to save his face by calling Trump directly. Our cunning Trump thatha used that desperateness to his advantage and he is trying to cut a massive deal. India is screwed.

The requirement is 114 fighter jets and global tender has been floated. One of the significant requirement is assembly of such fighters in India, localization, apart from buying some of them off the shelf.

Lockheed Martin is not gonna do that…neither India is going to buy 114 jets off the shelf. We learnt from our past mistakes and not going to do the same again..

You are right. India did not, and maybe won't pursue as well.

Su - 57 aren't that cheap. They cost upwards of 100 Million.
