80L may be peanuts for you but in India is very good package. also It depends on individual on what he is capable of or may lose in bad investments in future. if the company can wait until his USC to give him 80L it's great or he may have to settle for less in India.

Minor correction...80L through job is peanuts.

You have to spend lot of time and energy and sacrifice your freedom.

And still government takes 40% cut.

Assets grow tax free. Long term capital gains for expenses is 10-15%. You can avoid that as well through LLC.

40L through Assets is greater than 80L through job

after that only FT jobs, worked in 3 MAANG companies

now many layoffs in our company, they giving offer to move Bangalore for 80L INR

 

Is it worth to move? Have GC, so no pressure to work. Even no work 1 year in US can survive but parents india getting old. They need support 

80L is a good package...you can freeze your GC for upto 2 yrs without loosing it I believe...

2 yrs is a long time to figure out if something works or not...I'd advice to take the job and see how it goes.

If you don't like it, you can always return back and find something here..

My simple advice is that GC unnadi so get citizenship and move to India permanently and on OCI card you can stay longer time 

get some skills development ….

Mastu paddai alaga. Lost a lot of money.

But those failures lead to greater wealth. 

When someone tells you about their situation and asks for advice......give advice based on THEIR situation.....not yours.

Read OP's posts again, put yourself in his shoes and then think.
