It’s great If you can delay until you get citizenship.
 

If you are sure that you are not going to use the citizenship, this is the best time to move. Same company and good package..it’s all good. Hope your kids are citizens and they can come for higher studies or work if they want in future and you can always visit.

@Ramaa do you get to keep unvested RSUs?  80lpa at your exp konchem lower side  at FAAANG level companies in India,
After tax, Blr expenses ki, 80 Lpa wont look much,  Blr traffic tests your patience.

I worked in india for 7+ yrs before moving to US (for masters and then job here).
If your parents live in interiors (Not  Hyd orBlr )  1 week leave once in 4/5 months ki edustaru managers..
Work culture will be bad compared to here. 
IC level aite it gets very difficult to find jobs else where at your experience, Director/Sr Mgr roles unte should be ok.

how do you work with gc in india, max out of stay time is 6 monhts, the opoe officer will screw you a$$ with series of  questions when you return, dont say for every 6 months you'd come and go, that puts you in red flag, and your gc could be in trouble, remember they issued you a gc cos you'd stay in us and work, not in india, do you know clock time line for usc ? you didnt mention any about gc re entry, if more than 1 year outside of the country... 🙄, you'd need file an application for your rentry on gc, and its valid upto 2 years only,...not an easy thing at all to work in india with a gc status, the use case won't fit at all imo.. idk how far you're from being naturalized, if not too far, apply n400, also its taking more than 1.5 year just to get an interview scheduled.. just fyi... 🙄

Since you mentioned you are working in MAANG. For me with MAANG experience they are trying to lowball you with 80L(is it just Base or including everything) in a city like Bangalore. If its base it might be a decent number. But definitely not a great number for person with 12+ years of MAANG experience.

80 is base pay

With exp of 10 to 14 years i agree. I worked for top 4 acc bigies and paid around 30L in 2019. Now market is not that expected but user talking about director level that’s why even can consider.

MAANG level 80L is jujubi, I am not going to India for now but seen colleagues getting more than 1 Cr

How many years since you got GC? This tells how far you are from USC
