Android_Halwa Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 I don’t think that’s how it works… In that import category, there are again multiple tiers…Fully imported luxury car attracts the highest at 110%… And there is another category, fully knock down kits, partial knock down kits which are essentially parts manufactured else where and bought to India and assembled locally has lowest tariffs and ie category la now the govt is insisting to procure about 30% parts locally and get 70% from else where and invest in local assembly infrastructure and in these case the industry is asking for lower tariffs… Quote
