You do not need international roaming for texts. Cheap antunnavu kabatti cheptunna. One year ki 1999 plan teesuko. Prepaid. You will get texts and OTPs. Unlimited talk and text. Data is 24GB per year. Vellinappudu panikostadi. Deniki minchi waste NRIs ki.

They will not encourage you to take prepaid and will try all tricks for postpaid. Don't budge. Don't even discuss with them. Just blindly take prepaid 1999 per year plan. More than enough.

didn’t know that,… so texts vasthaya ithe, without any changes to local plan? Then I am fine.

Aa 1999 plan existing number ki applicable aa (kind of upgrade)?

Texts vastayi. Nee existing number postpaid avute prepaid ki convert cheyinchukovali. Vaadu kadhalu padatadu. Margin potundani. Musukuni cheyamani gattiga adugu. Akkada nundi 1999 plan online chesukovadame. Nothing like upgrade or anything. Works for any number.

No mention. He may try all tricks to sell a roaming package. I do not think NRIs will ever need Indian service (phone calls and data) when roaming. US roaming service ee chala better. So, stick to not taking a roaming package. Just 1999 per year is good enough.
