Yes I agree to some extent. But the main Genetic constituency of so called US of A comes from two main countries UK, including Ireland & Germany.

Myth 1: Not every country in Europe amassed colonial wealth. Spain & Netherlands till 18th Century and UK & France till 1945 had great Colonies that supplied cheap or free raw materials. Most other countries like Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Denmark, Finland Sweden, Portugal & all East European countries NEVER had any colonies.

Not about war doctrines - I was responding to the OP who said they are beggar countries.

Get your facts right - Not entire Europe. UK & France until 1943 and USA from 1944 (D-Day Normandy landings) already weakened Hitlers Army.
