Similarly, Ukraine also has to settle with Russia and be ready to lose some land that they lost already.. otherwise this will go on for decades with no clear result.. and US needs to keep supplying them with weapons forever..

The problem is Ukraine wants to join NATO and EU and get free EU money.Russia is worried if Ukraine drifts away from them, their security will be danger as Nato forces will be at their door step. This Marco Rubio seems a funny guy, how can Russia oblige that treaty when Ukraine joins Nato and EU. If Ukraine tries to stay neutral between EU and Russia, then Russia comes to their defence if any problem from others. But here, Ukraine doesn’t want to stay neutral and join the opposite forces.

If Alaska is in threat US can fight on its own, unlike Ukraine which is trying to drag other countries to fight with Russia

Security guarantee means zelesky/Ukraine wants to join Nato and EU and get free EU money. If Ukraine stays neutral and have friendly relationship with Russia, that itself is a security guarantee. But, they are more interested in EU free money.

Trump is against giving this bcoz he know that US gave security guarantees to many countries in the past and it is draining them lot of money..

Europe currently has 65K US defense forces deployed protecting all of Europe..it will now go upto more than 100K if US agrees to provide security guarantees as other Europe countries will send a nominal number of soldiers.. 

US also don’t get paid by any of the countries from Europe.. Trump sees them as enjoying their liberty and freedom at US’ expense.. they are not spending much on their defense while US is paying for everyone’s defense..
