Medical Insurance for Parents from India

Parents ki 6 months ki medical insurance suggestions cheppandi bhayya.

what site, what coverage type and how much is recommended.arriving in a week.

 

My parents are 66 & 60. BP, sugar unnai.. so want them to have peace of mind while they are here.

check with the insurance if they allow- Allow direct billing before buying the plan..

if they allow direct billing your insurance will pay.. other wise you have to pay and reclaim from insurance..

India lo coverage quote teesuko…especially if the parents are above 70 and have any pre existing conditions, then any insurance that yiu buy won’t cover anything ither than critical illness and that too comes with ton’s of conditions…

India la coverage options chusuko…similar price vuntadi but better to have something..

Indian insurance kashtam. Aa culture ee daridram. Anni litigations ee. US ee better. Atleast insurance ombudsman vuntadu. Dealing with these people is also easy.

Not really…Remember, Visiotors insurance vallaki SSN vundadu and legally peekedi emi ledu, almost every visitor insurance comes with terms and conditions and once you read them, you will get an idea….

India nundi travel insurance teesukovadam better and US travel insurance acts as a back up…Ledu, kadu, kudaradu..atla kaane kaadu ante alage..!

Insubuy has a couple pre-existing coverage insurances as well, the last time I shopped.

 

Yes, the situation is regardless of insurance. America doesn't deny medical treatment. Andukane andi, instead of dealing with those Indians, aa money edo America vaadiki ichukovadame melu. Process is atleast simpler anna.

 

Read the bold parts once again. BP, Sugar ane preexisting conditions valla heart issue vachindi. It comes under pre-existing annadu.

Okay. Last year, naaku 12k emergency bill ayindi and hospital tho negotiate chesi 5k ki oppukuni payment plan teesukunna…I purchased through InsuBuy and they denied straight away saying Pre existing conditions.

Luckily parents had their own travel insurance from India, 6 lakhs coverage vunte adi idi cheppi bills present chesthe 2.5 lakhs reimburse chesindu, the claim was seamless…and took about 3 months. Idi naa experience…

hmm. Deeni taggara extremely limited options vunde, Insubuy lo. If I am remembering correctly only two options and I had to pick one.. By the way, nee case lo pre existing ani ela determine chesadu? If you can answer without compromising your health privacy.

Thyroid…My father had thyroid for some time and after coming here, thyroid levels gone down where as his regular medication was high dosage…so fell sick and because of these he had some inflammation that led to gastric pain…he was in emergency for a day and discharged and prescribed lower dose of medicine. 

But other than that, diabetes, BP, thyroid, etc evi vunna pre existing conditions kinde count ayitadi…Insubuy la offer chese all plans lo not even one plan covers pre existing conditions. Some plans offer coverage for pre existing but only if it is critical illness like stroke, accidents, etc. 

US la Travel Plans la chala research chesina vaa…best is to have back up coverage from India and buy minimum coverage here to cover urgent care etc..
