Other former USSR countries? Like Georgia, Moldova? Russia has attacked those countries as well occuiped 20% of Georgia. Once it occupies Ukraine, its going to attack those countries again, they in line. Don't expect the former USSR countries as safe. Russia's pattern under Putin is simple - Select a country, occupy some % of land, and go for peace talks when his army wears down, sign the peace talks with promise of keeping the land for exachange of stopping the war and ceasefire. Regroup the army and build the weapons in a few years, attack again. He can't fight all the USSR countries once. That's why he selects the country based on his strategic advantage.

It also attacked Georgia, Moldova. I think Chechnya is now part of Russia.
