CanadianMalodu Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 12 hours ago, rational said: we are discussing about the concept" I am the God and i am the only God". U said only krishna said that but so do allah. my verses in previous post proves that allah also claims that he is the only god. talking about revelations there were few specific incidents according to quran, allah reveals himself to people using various methods. "sura 42:51-52 states, "It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a Messenger to reveal, with Allah's permission, what Allah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise." "And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [Allah] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers." Quran has different concept of God revelation and Gita has different approach. My point is not about revelations its about these religious gods claiming that " i am the only GOD." It's only in Abrahamic faiths. Krishna explicitly states he's God. His revelation is direct, no third person. He neither said not to worship anyone or that "I'm THE ONLY ONE". . Quote

There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. (20:98) here allah is saying clearly " i am the only GOD" Quote

Krishna didn't say that he is the "ONLY ONE". Also, this verse translation appears to be in first person. There is no first person dialogue in Allah. It's always the third person. It's like " Allah tells the third person (prophet) that he's God. Quote

Oh! my bad i thought we were discussing about allah. Krishna didnt literally use those words " i am only one". but he said i am the only one who created everything and responsible for everything. Here he is clearly claiming everything is created by me not anyone else BG 7.6: సమస్త జీవ రాశులు నా యొక్క ఈ రెండు శక్తుల ద్వారానే వ్యక్తమవుతాయి అని తెలుసుకొనుము. నేనే ఈ సమస్త సృష్టికి మూల ఉత్పత్తిస్థానము మరియు నా లోనికే ఇది అంతా లయమై పోతుంది. claiming every living being is created by me. Five elements are also created by me So if he is claiming i am solely responsible for creating or destroying everything, which means he is the only god no one else can do it.. BG 9.23: ఓ కుంతీ పుత్రుడా, ఇతర దేవతలను శ్రద్ధతో ఆరాధించే వారు కూడా నన్నే పూజిస్తారు. కానీ, అది వారు తప్పుడు పద్ధతిలో చేసినట్టు. if you praying to other gods also you are praying to him which means they are part of him which makes him the only GOD. all the verses are taken from this source https://www.holy-bhagavad-gita.org/index Regarding the verse i had taken it from Quran. I will post the whole context and the verse Moses sees the fire surah taha 20:10 "When he saw a fire, he said to his family, “Wait here, ˹for˺ I have spotted a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a torch from it, or find some guidance at the fire.” 20:11 "But when he approached it, he was called, “O Moses! Allah fire roopam lo kanipinchaadu. 20:12 "It is truly I. I am your Lord! So take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Ṭuwa." 20:13 "I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed" 20:14 ‘It is truly I. I am Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Me. So worship Me ˹alone˺, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 21:92 ˹O prophets!˺ Indeed, this religion of yours is ˹only˺ one, and I am your Lord, so worship Me ˹alone˺. This is how it was written in quran check it yourself. https://quran.com/ Quote
