Kapus never voted as a block. Never will. There are only two times where Kapu consolidation had happened one was during Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga's time and after his murder. Then the second one was when Sirio started Praja Rajayam.

Even during the second time, the consolidation was not to the extent of Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga's time. The problem with Kapus in EG/WG belt is they always have one or other fight multiple communities, be it Setti Balijas, Be it Rajulu, Kammas is already known, Be it Malas, even with other BC castes. Any of consolidation attempt will make other communities vote against them en masse. Their vote consists about 25-30%, so that's the problem. Sirio lost Palakollu because of this.
