Roshni Nadar Malhotra is set to become the third-richest Indian after receiving a 47% stake in HCL Corporation and Vama Delhi from her father, HCL Group founder Shiv Nadar, in a succession move.

Mukesh Ambani remains India’s wealthiest individual with a net worth of $88.1 billion, followed by Gautam Adani at $68.9 billion. Shiv Nadar, currently ranked third at $35.9 billion, will slip in the rankings after passing on his holdings to Malhotra, according to Bloomberg Billionaires data.

Malhotra, chairperson of HCLTech since 2020, took over the leadership from her father. A graduate of Northwestern University with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, she has been steering the company’s strategic direction over the past four years.
