First, Gannavaram is owned by Airports Authority…ante expansion cheyalani state govt anukunna ayedi emi ledu unless center provides direction with budgetary allowance…low chance. And grade-2 airport kabatti peddaga expect seyodhu..

Second, Dubai tho matladithe Smirates odu flight estadu anukunte porapate…Emirates is full on capacity..

by the way, This my pulka supportive post…Normally I wouldn’t. 

A new airport is a blessing in disguise for Amaravti. Gannavaram is owned by AAI and long run lo feasible avadu. Its better to start developing an airport and then shutting down Gannavaram for commerical operations. Expansion of Gannavaram is a hassle. 
 

This is the reason why private airports are coming up…Started with Bangalore and Hyd and now Mumbai’s two airports are private, Delhi’s two airports are private…

Kolkata and Chennai’s airports are better but not on par with Delhi and Mumbai because they are AAI’s.

@Sam480 kaka tho differ kuda ayina he supported the idea of warangal airport and I was against the idea as road and rail between hyd and warangal is so excellent, regional airport will only result in loss and least in efficiency…In an alternate world, I want airport in every district but practically, it makes no sense and least efficient.

Demand lekapothey evademi seyaledu…Private operators vunnaru ipudu antha…so when an airline starts a new service, six months of partial revenue loss tho ne start pedtaru hoping to increase demand in the future…

A metric called as average revenue per seat…and when this projected revenue does not even come closer to viability even after six months, this is when they decide not to start a service…
