I feel that most of it is attributed to moving far from the city you work at. You go far for whatever reason, you are sure to feel refreshed. If it is only because of faith, there is a Tirupathi very near to Hyderabad. Why not go there? Its less commercialized and has much lower traffic. It has the same ghat roads , same feel. Tirupathi is nothing but a big brand. People like to go to branded temples to feel satisfied. Its like a compulsion. I get irritated at Tirupathi due to the unpleasant crowding and commercial nature. But feel refreshed at Manyamkonda (Palamuru Tirupathi) As a kid, I used to stand outside of temples when my parents visited. Now I wisend up and go inside when I am with family, turn on my belief once inside the temple and then turn it off and become agnostic again once I come out. I do this for 2 reasons 1. I won't be hurting anyone 2. There is a scientific,communal and placebo effects which are good for our overall wellbeing. Quote

Teluguredu Posted March 12 Report Posted March 12 Tirumala can be be a vacation place ,there are a lot of places in tirumala you can explore like waterfalls , scenic spots and the weather is good ,plus tirupati itself has hiking spots , waterfalls close to it. Quote
