My friend had bmw. Got it for 70K and it dropped to 30K in 3 years. Car is never an investment.

That 100%. At same time he was asked for 2500 for a simple leak from washer fluid tank.  The reason was they had to remove complete frame on right to access the tank. That’s dumb. Forcing high repairs. Same with Tesla. Atleast people save on maintenance. It’s debatable. Evs are better for low maintenance.
