We need to stop with the repeating that Musk is an engineer, or an inventor. He is neither of these things. He has no training in engineering, and has never invented anything. He got himself into Paypal by being bought out by Peter Thiel, and was given a C suite position out of pity. Thiel ran the company to profit, and was bought by Ebay. Musk made money from the sale, despite being incompetent. He then used that money to buy his way into Tesla, which was founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, who are actual inventors and entrepreneurs. He then ousted them and declared himself as a cofounder by a lawsuit overseen by a corrupt judge. SpaceX and Starlink were also buy ins, with similar shady dealings. In short, he is a rich boy who bought his way into companies. He is not an inventor, engineer, or even a good business manager. He failed upwards to his curernt position by arrogance and bullsh!t, just like his co-president.
