In a way you're not wrong. AP has more concentration now. In the past, any development in AP got swept away by Hyderabad.

Not surprised. TG is the only smaller state with such a well developed city. TN, KA, MH, WB are way too big. If you factor the whole population, their GDP percapita takes a big hit. Lucky Telanganites.

yep true but the money generated should be spent on infra rather than freebies

We can preach as much as we want. At the end of the day, Voters are greedy. They care for what benefits t them personally. Even then they are still unhappy. Being a politician is very hard in India. People expect you to distribute money during elections, yet they don’t want you to do corruption after winning. How does it makes sense. Lol

I don’t consider TG as a big state. It’s a medium sized state in terms of area and population.

It won’t. It has gotten only worse. At least in my lifetime. People are the biggest Hypocrites. Politicians can’t say that loud in press, but they all will tell you in off the record.
