I see some positive side ..nothing is lost for you.. you learned how to survive, sustain, and maintain consistency.. unless your work is to heat the seat. Many companies extract juice out of you for what they are paying. They make you overwork. As long as you are on the hot seat and learning something new.. and technically hands-on vuntey.. it doesn't matter. Whenever you change the job.. each company has different DNA so it always takes some time to settle down and adapt to their environment. Another positive side - if your company is shifting gears and adapting to modern technology and methodology.. you will not miss that steam. Also, you work with so many different people (as people keep moving from one firm to another firm for career move) though you don't move. Negative side - If your company is not dynamically adapting to the latest tech trends, is conservative, and is putting you into your comfort zone, it is a wake-up call to switch. In a nutshell, if your job is not letting you learn new technology and not allowing you to upskill ..it is better to move on to another one. Quote
