DonnyStrumpet Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 If you don’t file taxes properly, then employer will be implicated with 1099 issues. Hence they prefer W2. So that taxes can be deducted upfront. I don’t think they trust to stay in USA. Hence they don’t want to risk it since you are not local thella white. Quote
