Interesting.. not sure how this is working.. Federal Registry states that you have 240 days of legal status.. Real ID should be given atleast matching that time period.. May I know the law that is forcing for not issuing Real ID during this time period?

valid stamp akkaraledu.. i797 vundali.. but Federal Register auto extends for 240 days if the decision is pending with USCIS.. so, all should be a legal extension.. so surprised by this rule.. naku Policy Manager okadi telusu Department lo.. naa paatha state nundi.. antha avasaram vunte vadini aduguta le.. thanks though..

I don't think so. I renewed DL 2023. My previous license was issued for 5 years and it is not real ID. I had the option of keeping it the same or upgrading it to real ID.
