American makes including Ford, Diesels and gas V8s will last really long time. Diesels will last anywhere between 300,000 to 1 million miles depending on how you use it and with bigger diesel engines 1 million + miles is doable. Gasoline will do 200,000 to 350,000 miles easily.

My 09 Ram 1500 has 180,xxx km. I bought it in Canada and have been using it for last 9 years and even moved it to US with ne. I did 120,xxx km on it. I can squeeze the worth of another 100,000  km from it.
