Home inspection is only chance if the seller isn’t agreeing to fix your concerns or provide a discount. Appraisal mostly for new homes comes to the seller price. So no way to back out without losing money. Talk to realtor and see if you have any other options. Quote

You can back out but be prepared to lose the 20K. You can back out during inspection for already built homes. Quote
Sizzler Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 Also, why do you want to back out now? If there is a genuine excuse like employment, relocation etc, builder might be flexible to give the 20K back to you. 1 Quote

I know few folks changed their mind and lost earnest money (20K-30K) ala...and they were ok because similar house in the same community and near by lo prices went down a lot. So loosing 20K-30K is still cheaper than moving into a house which is already 70K+ lower than their original price. Nee case kuda ade aithe then its ok to loose. Also, long term think chey....if u n ur wife not at all happy moving into that house, then just drop the plan anthe. 20K big amount ah leda small ah anedi mee istam, but ah house lo meeru happy ga lekapothe nothing will work out for you, every single day u will keep thinking that u made a big mistake ani....so enjoy ur house, adi chaala imp. 5 Quote
