Columbia did that...nothing to do with govt or ICE...columbia has to answer that question but they are a private uni..nenu cheppanu, em peekuntavo peekko po antaaru or they'll cite some obscure university policy and say she's in violation of that policy and hence debarred..

First things first. There is no ABSOLUTE FREE SPEECH anywhere in the world. You're always at the mercy of those that have power over you, be it governments or corps. 

First Amendment in the US makes it sounds better but reality is slightly twisted.

If you work for a Corp say in IT or ITES, and then you go ahead say in your verified , identifiable X or other such SM handles that you hate Diversity, Gender Bias and other Such DEI policies even in your personal space, I guarantee you, you will be fired. 

If a Corp wields such a power, then governments would wield even more. Unless you're a CITIZEN, majority of your rights are NOT ABSOLUTE and are ALIENABLE.
