You will have varying public ip configured on modem. ask chatgpt anna I was doing a training class from udemy... the instructor deployed a ec2 instance of ubuntu. i did the same and it worked. after that he tried to ssh into ec2 ubuntu from ec2 linux, on his instance it works and on mine it doesn't. i tried several methods and it fails. now instead of getting stuck i have deployed ubunt on virtual box. i want ec2 instance send data here. Use winscp or scp commands from your local and download files from ec2 instance Quote
BabuDEVUDU Posted March 30 Report Posted March 30 For your Ec2 server to be able to communicate with anything on the internet, it needs to have internet gateway setup. Additionally the SG attached to your ec2 should allow port 22 for ssh. Quote
