Lol. 10 yrs ago everyday I walk by boeing and thought one day I will work there. Tried so much back then no h1 s taking due to clearance or bs. 

Later you all know how boeing went side ways and head quarters also moved out. My dream also faded.

Bottom line dream job is a myth to realized by when I turn 30.

It is not about the success of the employer but the enjoyment you get from work and the impact of your contributions that make up ones dreams. Looks like your metric of success is in the money you make. Not everyone seeks that. It is the experience that matters. Hope you get matured to realize it one day.

When in college, I wanted to work for a company with a beautiful location. Water and mountains. Forgot abt my dream. 
5-6 yrs into job, I realized I am living my dream. 

I would love to work for a start up and experience the craziness.

I'm just simply saying...perception of dreams can  change as you get old and so are u depends on surroundings.

May be you are struggling with dementia. Your failure and incompetence to achieve your dream cannot be a discouragement for others. Dreams need not be about jobs. Dreams vary by person. Let them express. Let them be happy and let them refocus.

Its always good to work for tech roles in Non tech & Non finance/banking companies. example like health care, manufacturing & auto machinery related companies. Pay is less but longer projects, Less stress & More work life balance.
