Typically they cut some of their commission and also mortgage rate could be slightly higher (say 0.125% more). No, I didn’t hear of Escrows being included into the loan amount. They mighy insist on Property Tax, Home Insurance being paid into escrow monthly so that they handle the payments instead of you being responsible for it. Quote
