They expected 20%+ vote share but reality hit annamalai hard 

they got 18.2%

they didnt win any seats but according to me they did quite well and were in 2nd spot ahead of aidmk in many constituencies

Agree , their vote share increased lot but their expectations were too high and they projected annamalai as another mgr , annadurai , kamaraj level but for sure annamalai is way better than any other bjp leaders in South

No doubt Annamalai is bjp's best in south. If they continue with him for another 10-15 years they will be big force in TN

But bjp central leadership doesnt have patience and wants quicker results. if they tie up with aidmk in 2029 they could win 5-7 seats and also dent congress in 10 seats

He is better in the centre for high position roles like Subbu Swamy or Nirmala S. because AIADMK can do the needful
