Yuvasamudram Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 Kids born in India last year and came to US in Jan 2025 I am sure I cannot claim them as dependents without SSN or ITIN. Do I need to file W7 with IRS to get ITIN and then file for taxes? Or is it easy to just to go to HR Block and let them do it just for this year? TIA. Quote

Yeah dependent also same unless they are US citizens but you said India born so they can't be claimed Quote
