Stanford F1 revocations, real Stanford

Stanford learned on Friday, April 4, that four students and two recent graduates have had their student visas revoked.  The University learned of the revocations during a routine check of the SEVIS database. Stanford notified the students of the revocations and made external legal assistance available to them. To protect student privacy, Stanford is unable to identify the individuals or provide other details. We are not currently aware of the details of the revocations or the reasons for them. We also are not aware of any presence of immigration authorities on campus today.

Urgent‼️

My husband received a call from his university informing that his OPT has been revoked. He had been on OPT since January 20 2025 and secured a full-time job with an American automobile company form, March 2025 and his OPT valid until January 19, 2026. I am currently working  as postdoc on academic H1b and I am 35 weeks pregnant. Right now, I am not too concerned about his job or other matters, my worry is having him stay in the U.S. at the birth of our child.

We reached out to a few attorneys, but they said ther is nothing they can do, and suggested he might be able to switch to a dependent visa. However, when he tried to fill out the I-539 form, he wasn’t able to complete it.

If anyone has any suggestions on how he can change from a revoked OPT F1 to an H4 visa, please let me know. I want him to stay here for my delivery, and he has to leave in 15 days. If I weren’t 35 weeks pregnant, I wouldn’t be so concerned, we could leave the country, or he could possibly leave and return on an H4. Please 🙏 if any have ideas and leads please let me know. I really my husband support during my delivery. Please help me🙏 in this difficult  time.

I would also like to mention that my husband had received speed limit tickets few months ago, and he paid, unfortunately this could potentially be the reason for the revocation of his visa.w

BTW, the news is true, maa cousin studying in Univ of California also got university wide email from chancellor's office that 15 student SEVIS was terminated on Friday.

This is new, Visa revocation was happening before also but SEVIS revocation means underlying status itself gone.
