Modi has put tariffs for protecting Indian companies. The problem is they don't want US to do the same. That's unfair.

Another thing, Indian cartel companies much like Canadian ones don't want to compete and excel. Instead they lobby for more needless Bureaucratic tape in business for protection.

India is in surplus with US. India has deficits with China. India should use tariffs to balance trade with China instead. Akkada matram em cheyyatledhu.
