But every year around 100$ Billion deficit is too much kada? Every year the deficit is increasing but not going down

There is no proper supply chain in India for most products ,labor costs cheap aina supply chain lekapothe you need to import components which will cost more.

Problem is deficit is going up and not coming down, we should create our own supply system

Unless we start building manufacturing base from the beginning ,it's impossible to stop importing from China .

as far my memory goes I never bought a nail cutter which says made in India, first India should be self reliant on such aspects then we can levy tariffs on chinese products. As of now vishwaguru can ban chinese apps anthe ani @CanadianMalodu telling.

That won't happen now ,

In 1990's western countries invested heavily in China and they improved their base from there .

Now its difficult ,even labor costs in China have gone up now hence they are outsourcing something's to less developed countries in SEA region.

Tell me if you were business man.....you are selling a product....if you manufacture in india your profit is 10k per month but if you import from china your profit will be 30k per month what would you do?

it is still cheaper to get from china....india has several drawbacks it lacks in infra, skilled labor, tech etc 

even modi is not able to do much. he introduced PLI scheme by giving some incentives but benefit so far is little.it cant be reversed so easily it will take years
