DonnyStrumpet Posted April 10 Report Posted April 10 Congress also made major mistakes. There were so many scams. Even today nepotism is rampant in Congress. They have created border problems with Pakistan and China under Congress regime. Their foreign policy sucked. Shastri Ji was assasinated in Russia for obvious reasons. Because he was so popular. The worst of all is emergency. I don’t know how Congress can justify imposing emergency in India. That was unexpected in any democratic country. At the same time, BJP isn’t great either. However being a Hindu country, if we don’t protect Hinduism then no body else will. BJP stands for Hinduism. The day India breeds aetheists on the name of liberals we can call that day as end of worlds oldest religion. Quote

His government introduced the New Computer Policy of 1984, which liberalized the import of computers and software, reduced tariffs, and encouraged IT adoption. He also brought Sam Pitroda into his advisory circle, tasking him with modernizing India’s telecom infrastructure. Initiatives like the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) and the proliferation of public call offices (PCOs) created the connectivity backbone that later enabled the IT industry’s growth. Gandhi’s vision for technology as a driver of progress was pivotal, though his tenure ended before the IT boom fully materialized. Quote
