This is why you need to learn history.

Congress wanted to make hindi the "Only" official language also they mandated hindi to be taught in schools across India .

In 1950 they bought official languages act to completely stop using english after 15 years .

DMK protested hard against it ,congress had to sent military to stop the protests ,they have even killed many students .only after relentless protests ,the central government allowed english to be continued in non-hindi states.

Even after that, centre government was careful about implementing policies that might effect the federalism in our country just because of DMK.there is a reason why national parties were completely kicked out of T.N.

If not for DMK we would have been sold to these beggar indo-aryans by our leaders.

Many non-Hindi states protested against it...not just TN and DMK...

Lol where were the protests in andhra? Only due to DMK protests the centre has stopped hindi imposition nowhere else they were as intense ,congress had to bring in military to stop the protests.
