All U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories are now compliant with the REAL ID Act, meaning they are issuing REAL ID-compliant driver's licenses and identification cards. This means that from May 7, 2025, these compliant IDs, or other acceptable forms of identification, will be required for domestic air travel and access to certain federal facilities.
