In August 2024, a 90-foot-tall Hanuman Statue was inaugurated in Texas. According to Latestly, the statue known as the 'Statue of Union' is the third tallest statue in the United States. It was named so to commemorate Lord Hanuman's role in reuniting Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. The temple of the lord has been built at the Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land, Texas.

While the statue was inaugurated in a grand inauguration ceremony, it is now receiving backlash on X by MAGA members who are having a meltdown over a "monument honouring a foreign deity."

Recently, an X user who goes by the name Andrew Beck took to X to highlight that the tallest statue in Texas was that of a Hindu god. He also asked the inhabitants of the area that now their community would have a civil religion and whether it would be compatible with their civilization, the Christian civilization or not?

Its good if you wake up from the thought that West is secular. It's never been since the start. It's only "TOLERANT"  at best and population dynamics define the level of tolerance.

Thellodu anadam kaadu. Thats the way American way of life works and thats how the country has been working.

Temples leva ekkada ? Temples varaku ok and ilanti statues petti emi chedam ani. 

Point inta  pedha statues mana desam lo construct chestey (eppudu unna situations ki)  and what people will say ? Similarly ekkada people and based on religion they will blame. Eppudu kotha statue pedata antey , will the current part will accept  ( let's say UP) ?  Texas , UP comapre cheyatledhu , malla dani meedha reply istav edho comparision antu.
