No, not just Khalistanis many whites didn't like it either. North Americas building stock comes from Christian faith (Presbyterian and Protestant stock). They're tolerant (unlike middle East) in current times, but don't expect equal treatment.

You should not forget. White population is still dominant in North America by sheer numbers. In Canada, Desis even if Sikhs included is still less than 10%. 

Tell me what good is your degree and all other bat $h1t , when it can't buy you street defense or courage. Korean store keepers armed to death fought blacks in California. That's admirable courage.

Being bookish will only buy some extra $ and some big chair at a company or academia. It also makes you vulnerable. Hindus have never learnt lessons from the past. Partition came and brutality was forced on them. The response was to run away, let their wives and daughters be raped and killed, ran away for lives leaving everything behind.  Not saying it will happen here, but in the face of adversity these school educated folks always duck, can't fight back.
