He saw opportunity for corruption after liberalisation and when FDI money started pouring in.

He was focused only on Hyd due to cheaper land costs and it being the Capital. It came at the expense of Andhra development. 

Vishakapatnam would have been a better destination in Andhra. Now he is screwing that up even more. Giving away land for useless malls like Lulu and giving away land at throw away prices for a near redundant company like TCS.  Last time he gave away land to film studios. He will give away the Vizag steel plant land to Modi too.  No high potential investments are really coming to Andhra.

You needed to build a similar base in vizag , Vijayawada or other cities to make IT companies to set shop ,even then the weather conditions and low lying coastal places aren't a favourite to IT companies.

It's difficult to being IT investments to andhra without having a base first .

It was not in his hands to say where the IT companies go but it was in his hands to improve basic facilities all over andhra which he was a disaster .

Vizag has had a big Naval base that gave a pan India populace to Vizag.  There is plenty of land without much of agriculture unlike Bezjawada. Cheap end IT is almost a done deal with AI advancement. Focus should be more towards achieving self sufficiency in electronica manufacturing. Vizag should possibly be promoted in that aspect.

Yeah andhra should move towards manufacturing because of having a lot of cities on the coast line
