I do not have much idea. I thought India has a lot of companies that cater to this sector.

Anyways, We are giving away our money to China who is a rogue nation and biggest threat to us. Its golden opportunity for India to make some of these domestically and stop relying on them.

Private companies always order machinery from china, only govt companies or for govt projects order from BHEL or some french, american companies who make them in india.

Tarrifs are the way to go. Discourage companies to source from china when they are locally made.
