[/quote]Archana has been progressing steadily…but not at a rapid pace. Day by day, her
dependency on the ventilator has been decreasing. However, she is not yet ready to be
moved to Shepherd rehab center. She is still being treated for after surgery infections.
Respiratory therapists have been helping her so that she can breath on her own soon.
As of now, we are hoping that she would be moved to Atlanta sometime next week.
Shepherd staff have told us that she requires 3 months of inpatient rehab and then her
progress determines the further schedule.
Her parents came to Nashville on Friday (11/26) and were very emotional when they
saw her. Now, Archana is happy to have her parents around. She is eager to get into
rehab phase.
Thank you for your wonderful support.

Archana is now off the ventilator and has been moved to Shepherd rehab center in Atlanta…
one month after her surgery. Initially, she will undergo rehabilitation as inpatient for 3 months
then followed by outpatient rehab. With fellow patients around, rehab facility is very
motivating.
In the last two weeks, she progressed well on her breathing and has been off the ventilator for
the most part in a day. Now she is breathing through oxygen cylinder.
She has been told about the loss of her twin sister. As expected, she was devastated to know.
Parents have been trying to console her and motivating her to look forward…but it'll take
sometime for her to accept the fact.
Indian community in Nashville & Murray university off icials/students have been very
supportive to the family. We greatly appreciate it.

Dear Friends

First and foremost I would like to thank you all for your extreme generosity to donate.  Each and all have made the hurdles of victim’s parents to some degree of relief.  Every cent, penny counted towards this noble cause and this would not have been possible without your time and a reason to help someone who you might have probably not even met but went all the way to help - from my heart, I say thank you, thank you to you all.

On the other front, I, Madhu Vulli, Raghava Keeta are only friends of the victims who have gone on a route without a thought for helping victim parents with this 'raising funds' event - which I am happy to say that it was unbelievably successful. This will not relive the parents of the victim 100% from their great loss but I am sure hurdles of health bills and unforeseen expenses that they may face because of this incident will be less painful.

Now has come to let each of you know what we have raised and where the funds are landed.  There were lot of valid questions raised by many for 'how much and if at all the collected funds have reached victims aid'.  I personally stand by and happy to let you know how and where the funds are.

We have collected a whooping total of $196,320 (One hundred and Ninety Six thousand, three hundred and twenty dollars).  The amount has been transferred to victim’s father through Cashier’s Check following legitimate process.

Please do not hesitate to contact me ([email protected]) for any questions you might have in regard - after all it’s your money for noble cause.

For current/further state of victims or future donations or for contacting about existing funds, then please contact victims father Ravinder Gambiraopet ([email protected]) or Praveen, victim's cousin ([email protected])

Me and my friends (Madhu Vulli and Raghava Keeta) involvement ends here and have been reached beyond our initial cause.  Our credibility here 'is for a friend in need is a friend indeed’ – proud to say, we stood by it and was only possible because of 'you' dear friends.

Let’s all pray to god for speedy recovery of Archana who is currently in Shepherd Rehabilitation center (Atlanta) and also give strength to girl's family to overcome this grave situation.

Regards
